Summer Favorites: Pomegranate Lemonade

We discovered pomegranate lemonade a few summers ago and it has since become our favorite summer drink.

I finally realized just recently that I could probably make my own version at home {I have no idea why it took me so long to figure this out!} and started experimenting.  This homemade drink is fresh and tangy and perfect for a summer barbecue.

So pretty!

Pomegranate Lemonade

Makes: 2 quarts

1 - 1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup 100% pomegranate juice
2 quarts cold water

In a 2 quart pitcher, add the lemonade, pomegranate juice, and sugar.  Add water and stir until sugar is dissolved.  Chill and serve.

Enjoy!

This is a great idea!

So when you say lemonade ... do you mean actual premade lemonade or lemon juice. I wanna use this for my baby's party.

Yes, it is supposed to be lemon juice! I've updated the recipe.
