Freezer Cooking: Marinated Chicken

This recipe from Money Saving Mom is so quick and easy.

3-4 boneless frozen skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup soy sauce {I used worcestershire sauce}
1/4 cup agave nectar {I used honey}
1 garlic clove

  1. Put the garlic clove in a freezer bag with the frozen chicken.
  2. Mix the soy sauce {or worcestershire sauce} and liquid sweetener together and add to bag.
  3. Put in the freezer until ready to use.
  4. When ready to use, thaw in the refrigerator overnight and bake at 350 degrees for approx. 40 - 45 minutes.

NOTES:  The original recipe calls for boneless, skinless chicken breasts, but I used chicken thighs as they were on sale for $.89/lb.  It does take a bit of extra time to remove the skin and extra fat, but for that price I was willing to spend a little extra time with the preparation.
