Our little guy was thrilled to have raisins with his lunch. He ate everything except a couple of the carrot sticks which he kindly shared with mom.
{Turkey & Cheese Sandwich, Raisins, Applesauce, Carrot Sticks}

He wasn't very excited about the noodles and since it was something new, I didn't push him to eat them. But when he saw mom eat them he decided to try them and ended up eating half of the noodles.
Mom was very happy with that since he tends to be a picky eater and it is hard to get him to try new things.
{Noodles with vegetables and a little bit of Italian dressing, Strawberries, Yogurt}

I've been experimenting with lunches lately too. Sometimes putting small portions in a 6-portion muffin tin does the trick! I've also done a few "themed" lunches lately, and those were a big hit.
Using a muffin tin is a great idea. I also noticed your "fish" lunch and thought that was so creative. Thanks for sharing those tips.
Happy Monday! Love your menu and those little containers to put the kiddos food in. Such a great idea.. Stop in and link up in my Monday Menu Plan!! http://cafescrapper-scrapsoflife.blogspot.com/2012/01/menu-planning-monday-link-up-recipes.html

Thanks, Aimee!
I wish blogging was around when my children were young and in that picky eating stage. I think this is a GREAT idea!!! I use to make for my son saltine crackers spread with peanut butter and then the raisins in the shape of a smiley face. He still at age 14 loves that snack. But don't tell anyone! Enjoy your day and I hope you figure out your new cell phones!! I'm sure it takes a picture. Most phones do now!
I love your smiley face idea! Unfortunately my son is allergic to peanuts which has made it even harder to find a variety of foods for him to eat.
So far these meals have been working well with him. I like to try to give him one fruit and one veggie with his meals, but I did just figure out that I need to give him less fruit. He tends to eat the fruit first and then isn't able to finish some of the healthier foods. :)
great menu Vanessa! I think we are going to try the chicken and corn wraps today. Yumm! :)
They are very good, but more important they are very easy! Hope you enjoy them.
